III. Event Calendar 2001:

A. Have dates for Races on Pikes Peak Club Web Site; Will be posted on Regional Web Site. Only Conflict so far is Glenwood Springs and Avon are on the same dates. This is for USAT sanctioned events only. Still trying to get some race directors to sanction that are upset due to increase in one day license to $7.00 and problems with Sponsors of USAT giving products last year.

B. Race Calendar for Seven Races in New Mexico and South West Challenge will be included in the web site as well. There will be some overlap between the NM races and SW Challenge races with the Colorado Race Schedule.

C. USAT must emphasize the "value" of sanctioning an event, besides the obvious insurance coverage. Further, several race directors, were disappointed in the amount and/or lack of products provided by USAT sponsors. Their expectations, based on their perception of the value of sanctioning, were not met.
